About us

The Social Office in Sollentuna is a competent and development-oriented organization focused on early interventions, research-based methods, and professional service. The unit for financial assistance consists of two stable and experienced teams with administrative support that alleviates the case management. We systematically work with organizational development, user influence, and collaboration – including with the Employment Agency, the Public Employment Service, and open care for children and youth.

We continue to digitize and streamline the case management process while valuing time for personal meetings.

Your responsibilities

As a social worker in the reception, you will investigate, assess, and decide on financial assistance. You will meet individuals in various life situations and work together with them to strengthen their opportunities for self-sufficiency. When a case is assessed as long-term, it is forwarded to colleagues in the long-term group.

The work is based on MI, and you will have access to supervision, organizational development, and regular MI meetings.

We are looking for someone who:

Has a degree in social work or equivalent behavioral science education with social law
Is confident, empathetic, and can meet people in difficult situations
Is structured and good at documenting your work
Can perform tasks in Swedish
Thrives in a varied pace and has a solution-focused approach
Contributes to development and a good work environment – and preferably has a good sense of humor
It is an advantage if you have experience in financial assistance and have worked a couple of years as a social worker
